- Arrival and Departure
The rental period lasts from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival to 11:00 AM on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. Arrivals after 8:00 PM must be agreed with the landlord. Late arrival or early departure, or if the accommodation is not used, does not entitle you to a reduction in the rent.
2.Payment/Deposit/Cancellation
The rent is stated in the current price lists. Payment must be made in the amount and in the currency agreed. The tenant bears the payment costs.
Bookings made earlier than 100 days before arrival are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value. The remaining 70% is due 100 days before arrival.
No deposit is required for bookings with arrival less than 100 days in advance. In such cases, the full amount must be paid in advance after receipt of the confirmation document.
From 100 days before arrival, the following cancellation fees apply:
•100- 40 days before arrival: 80% of the total booking value.
•39-8 days before arrival: 90% of the total booking value
7- 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total booking value
All cancellations and changes must be made in writing via e-mail. The cancellation is only valid if it has been confirmed in writing by Parken hytteutleie. Lack of payment is not a valid cancellation. In the event of cancellation due to illness, this must be covered by the tenant’s travel insurance.
Cash payment is possible by prior agreement. In such cases, the tenant pays the full amount on the day of arrival.
For companies and long-term rentals, it is possible to enter into separate agreements for invoicing. Please contact us.
- Booking/confirmation/Rental price
The customer (person or company) is responsible for the entire rental relationship, including everyone in the travel party, and is financially responsible for the entire rental amount and any damages.
The booking confirmation states what is included in the rental price. Always check that the booking confirmation is correct and provide feedback on errors/deficiencies immediately.
In the event of changes in taxes and fees, Parken hytteutleie can adjust the price accordingly.
The age limit for renting is normally 23 years. - The holiday home
The holiday home is rented out as described in the presentation. Seasonal facilities (e.g. boat, outdoor furniture, barbecue) are not always available all year round.
Smoking is not allowed in any of the homes. - Additional services
Extra services, such as bed linen, towels and final cleaning can be ordered at any time. The boat should be ordered at the same time as the home as there is limited capacity.
Payment for additional services is either made in cash upon arrival or charged together with the rental amount. - Number of people
The holiday home is equipped and designed for the number of people stated in the presentation. If more people are to stay overnight in the accommodation, this is only by arrangement and will incur additional costs.
It is not permitted to set up tents, caravans or similar on the property without prior arrangement.
Please note that the number of seats in the living room/sofa group may be fewer than the number of beds. - Pets
If you are bringing pets, this must always be specified when booking. Max 2 pets per unit, and additional costs must be expected.
Pets must not be on furniture or left alone in the accommodation. Dogs must be kept on a leash outdoors, and feces must be removed. The tenant is liable for damages caused by pets.
Upon departure, all dog hair must be removed, even when final cleaning has been ordered. - Rules of conduct
The tenant and the travelling party must follow the house rules and instructions for use in the accommodation, and maintain normal peace and order. The accommodation must be left neat and clean. If final cleaning has been ordered, the accommodation must still be cleaned, garbage removed and dishes taken and put away. The outdoor area and boat must also be cleared and cleaned upon departure. The accommodation must be locked and left without damage. - Defects in the rental object
Damage or defects discovered upon arrival and during the stay must be reported to the landlord as soon as possible. Instructions for use for equipment and installations must be followed.
Defective facilities that are not described in the presentation do not give rise to a claim for repair or compensation. - The landlord has the right to repair defects in both the accommodation and the boat within a reasonable time. In the event of defects in the boat, the landlord will offer another boat, according to available capacity, until repairs have been made.
Any claims for compensation will only be processed after the end of the stay. Claims must be submitted in writing with documentation (photos/receipts) within one week of departure. Compensation cannot exceed the rental amount.
If the tenant leaves the accommodation without notifying the landlord, or does not provide an opportunity to repair defects or offer alternative accommodation, no refund or compensation can be claimed.
